Creative Visualisation

The Universe is seen as a vast system of energy constantly changing and in flux.  The Universe does not know right from wrong.  It only understands "energy" in its various forms and "vibration" is one such form of energy.

Keeping your “vibe” high and thinking about what you do want to attract into your life is a wonderful practice to help magnatise similar alignments into your life ie. like attracts like (often associated with the “Law of Attraction.”)

Creative Visualisation is using the power of your own imagination to create vivid mental images of what you want to change or create in your life.

Creation starts from thought. A thought or idea always comes before the manifestation. If you mentally visualise the desired outcome or goal then you are essentially programming your subconscious mind to make it a reality.

There is a fabulous book written by Shakti Gawin called “CREATIVE VISUALISATION".

I first read this book back in the early 80’s and personally used Shakti’s teachings many times to inspire me to use my imagination to create positive changes in my life. (See the example “Manifesting A New Flat” associated with Creative Visualisation.) This book guides and teaches practical methods to incorporate in your daily life which will help you to use the power of our imagination to create what you want in your life.

A Gentle Note to End On

And remember, you are not alone. We all experience times/moments of overwhelm, and our thoughts and feelings are often more alike than we realise.

If this resonated with you, or you know someone who might benefit from it, please feel free to share it.

And if you'd like support to explore what's beneath the surface, gain clarity and move forward in a new direction with more ease, understanding and perspective. I'm here to support you when you're ready.

THE FEELING NO ONE TALKS ABOUT Loneliness is something we all experience at some point - but it’s not something many of us feel comfortable talking about. It can linger in the background for so many people, no matter their age or circumstance. Over the years, I’ve come to realise how deeply we need to feel connected - to be seen, heard, and accepted for who we are. To feel like we belong. That we have a tribe. A community. People we can show up to as our full selves, without masks or pretence. This can be especially true for men.

As a holistic counsellor, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful language can be. The words we use don’t just describe our world - they create it. When we constantly tell ourselves we're worried, anxious, or not good enough, our brain starts to believe it, and our body follows suit. But when we change the way we speak to ourselves, we can shift our energy and our mindset toward a more positive, empowered space. It’s a small change in perspective that can make a big difference in our overall well-being.
